I'm thinking about going to the CWS next weekend, and after findout out who will be there at Fan Fest I'm considering buying some authentic jerseys.I've never bought them before, so I was hoping someone on here who has could shed some light on a few questions I have.Thanks.

1)Where is the best/cheapest place to get them from (I'm talking about retired/HOF players)? How much are they?

2)Who makes them (Majestic or Mitchell and Ness?) and what do I need to check for so I'm not getting some junk imitation?

3)If I want to get them signed what size should I get?L or XL?Will a standard Sharpie signature fade over time? Are there UV protected frames I can get for them?

Don't buy from overseas.

If you want to be 100% sure they are authentic, buy them from the MLB Shop on mlb.com.

1. Retired, but check MLB.com also, sometimes they have retired guys from M&N - Mitchell And Ness

Current- MLB.com shop

THERE ARE SOOO MANY FAKES AROUND. If you want the real thing, Mitchell and Ness or MLB.com

2. Mitchell and Ness does the retired players,
Majestic Does the Current Players, but im not sure, some teams might have other brands make them. I have an authentic Longoria and Howard and they are both Majestic.

3. If your going to get them signed, Think about the player. Ex- Howard, I would get a XL Signed, Longoria- L i think would be fine. But they go by number 48 Im sure is Large and 52 is XL

If your going to get them signed, Get the NUMBER signed, Having it signed on the white of the jersey i think would fade over time . There is no kind of case that directly 100% safeguards from the sun. Just keep it out of direct sunlight. Ex- Far corner of the room where sun will not directly hit it.
