As many of you know I had a problem with a card getting stolen during it's PO trip. I plan on refunding the buyer the 180.00 the question I have is this. Is there a way to not have to pay the fees since since the card was stolen and I am refunding the buyer? I am just not sure if there is a way to do this through Ebay so I get the 16.00 selling fee back from Ebay. It would hurt a little less then.

Thanks, Erich

Pretty sure you'd just need to cancel the transaction after you refund the buyer. Just talk to them before so they're aware of it and it shouldn't be an issue.

I can confirm the above. The buyer just needs to either agree to cancel the sale or not respond to the cancellation request.

Did you have insurance on the card? I would talk to your local Post Master about the situation..

Good luck,

Erich, use the resolve an issue function and you will see cancel transaction. It will open a case and close once the buyer responds.
