Question About the WBC Patches

I want to get some peoples insight on the new WBC patches that are in 2009 triple threads. I am talking about the wbc logo patch dual patch 1/1. These are definetly sweet looking cards, but I was wondering if we will ever see something like these produced again or are they a one time thing. Unfortunatly I was not able to win the Miggy (went for 400) and just want to know what people think on the long term value of this type of card is.

A card will only be worth what you're willing to pay. If someone outbids you, it was worth more to them.

They are certainly sweet cards. As for them being a one-time deal, I'm sure we'll see more in 4 years. Cabrera is young enough to play again in 2013, so he'll probably get another one made then. If that's the case however, it's anyone's guess whether it'll be as nice as these are. There's something to be said for having the "first" one too.

They're like other logo cards, but even better IMO because there is only ONE in existence (to this point). As for MLB logo cards, players often have several of them spread across several products. Personally, I think $400-500 is silly, but to each his/her own (buy the whole jersey already!).
