I've seen quite a few auctions from past years of Topps Chrome for superfractors. The sellers don't mention that they are of the uncirculated variety, tipped off by the sealed container with the Topps hologram sticker at the top. What is the story with these cards? I have been out of the hobby for quite a few years. I'm assuming they are issued later. Is this something they routinely sell? (meaning, will they likely be available this year too?)

They look like they are commonly numbered /10, but don't really sell for much considering the caliber of player I've seen (AP comes to mind). Some have looked like pretty obvious fakes too.

The ones /10 are autographs, but for 2006 and 2007 Topps Chrome, they had box toppers and randomly inserted in the uncirculated box toppers were Superfractors that are 1/1. 2007 brought the autographed superfractors /10

Here are some examples that I own

2006 Rudi Johnson Superfractor

As Brad stated, in hobby boxes only there were uncirculated box toppers in these foil packs. Most of them contained a refractor numbered somewhere in the mid 200's, but there were supers and autos in a small number of them. The other (non super) refractors sold for very little. For whatever reason, Topps discontinued the use of those box toppers for this year's chrome.
