Hey guys,

I've been considering picking up a either a Dwight Howard Exquisite RC Auto or a Durant and was hoping for some help on historical values of the cards. I don't remember Howard getting much more than the $2000-$2500 or so they are getting now, though I never really followed the card all that closely. Both cards seem to be in the same ballpark these days. Also, does anyone know whether sales have been legit. So many of the high-end Exquisite's seem to get relisted.

I would pick up the Durant over the Howard.
He will more than likely finish his career in OKC.
Is a better all around player in my opinion.

Long term Durant is a better investment. Howard could see a nice short term spike when he lands with a big market team

I think long term Dwight Howard is a better investment. Dwight will get to pick where he goes, Hype will follow and prices will rise. Quicker rise.

I appreciate the responses guys.

Does anyone have information on:

1. The historical values of each (a range of prices, possibly from the last couple of years.)
2. Whether the sales on eBay can be assumed to be legit (since there are so many relistings.)
3. How worried should I be about trimming or fake patches.

Thanks

to add i think its obvious durant is a pretty good investment. he is pretty much as good as lebrick right now and gets way lower prices (granted lebrons exquisite was 03/04 which was very popular year but that cant account for all of the difference in price) so even if durant keep going top 5 in scoring and never wins like lebrick they will grow. however i see durant winning multiple championships within the next decade maybe even next 4-5 years

Trimming might be out of the question but shaving and tightening the corners is 100% not. That being said, its still hard/rare I'd suppose. As well as patches, pretty hard to put a fake patch in those cards, too visable/high end.
