Has anyone successfully removed a silver sticker from any of the three companies?

I know that Dave removed a clear Musial auto sticker from Ultimate Sigs, it was the 1/1.
Dont know of him removing a silver sticker.
Do you know which one it was?

I remember that thread. I wonder if it has been resigned yet? I also wonder if he got it signed in Red like I suggested.

What color did he decide on? Maybe he'll post a scan in this thread.

I agree that it does.
But Bo was asking if anyone has removed a silver sticker?

Here is the Mauer sticker that Bo pulled off of the Nathan/Mauer Dual Logoman. Goes nicely on my Mauer Logoman.

I dont actually leave it on there, just did it for this scan.

Very cool, but for the trouble I would have gone with red...although I understand the other cards are in blue.

Re: Question for auto sticker removers...

Thanks Chris! It was taking me forever to find the links to the pics.

I did peal off a sticker but not a silver one. I can't see why it would be any different from pealing a clear one. It's just glue underneath.

No I didn't want red ink. Even as cool as it would look, it would stick out like a sore thumb to me.

Yeah, good call...I was only thinking on the lines of the single card and being a St. Louis Cardinals collector...I forgot about your sig and I understand the importance of keeping it uniform. Very nice work BTW.

Did you send that to Musial's company or get it at a show?

I believe the silver stickers are quite different and are made to leave part of it behind if peeled off (security issue like), that's why I was wondering if anyone had attempted it.

To his company. They did a good job for the most part, and luckily the card came back in good shape. But whoever put it back in the one-touch didn't get it exactly in the recession so part of one edge was pinched between the two pieces. But no significat damage other than a very tiny chip on the edge. Probably something only I would notice anyway.

That's what the clear ones do too. There was a significant amount of glue left on the card, plus the sticker lost so much glue in doing so that it would hardly stick to anything.

Re: Question for auto sticker removers...

Yes it has been done. Sliqwill did it for a football card back when there was this card of some no name stealer and it had a Cutler auto (I want to say on the back). Sliqwill proved that it was easy to remove it and replace it on the back of the card. You could tell the one with Cutler was faked since it had half of the stamp Donruss uses on cards.

Re: Question for auto sticker removers...

I have a Topps junker with a silver that I'm going to peal to see the difference from a UD clear...

Edit: Geez, the silver sticker came off so easy. It left a little residue and not sure what would take it off, but nothing like the stupid UD clear sticker.
