Question for player collectors

If your player is on a sell sheet for a card company, would you pick it up for your collection?

As some of you know, I collect promo cards and for some reason, it never dawned on me to dig out the decade worth of sheets I have from card companies to possibly add to my collection.

I myself am not a completist like many on here are but I would only pick up a sell sheet if it prominently featured my guy and it looked good. Don't think Dunn has been featured on very many sell sheets.

I'm the same. I won't go out of my way to search out and purchase them, but might pick on up if Olerud were prominantly pictured and the price was reasonable. I don't think he was ever pictured on a sell sheet though.

I've picked up a few Ripken Sell Sheets but didn't go out of my way to hunt them down.

I'll pick up any sell sheet if the price is right; I'll go hard after the more difficult sheets that feature something limited or rare.

I agree with this. It would have to have Rickey prominently pictured or at least be really cool to look at. I have seen some that I couldn't really care less if I ever saw again. Price would also be a major factor. These are just sell sheets, not the actual card or item.

Yes. I have about 5 or 6 featuring Bonds. He was on quite a few Topps sheets in the early 2000's.

I pick them up when I see them but only if they picture my guy. If it's just a name I pass.
