I am getting ready to send some stuff out for grading, JVC, and was wondering if it is possible to get a gem grade on a Certified Mirror Red Kirby Pucket without peeling the coating? Corners/Centering/Edges are all Gem looking, but need to know about surface grade. As far as I can see there are no scratches on the card.

I agree. Although, if this is a PC card, I would peel. I know for the next group submission, I've already peeled the Mirror Red and Mirror Blue cards. Since both cards have a refractor line on them, I figure peeling won't hurt the grade much. Plus, the peel on both cards was coming up already.

Before peeling. You can see the refractor lines on both cards on the top 25% of them.
