Question regarding 2009 SP Legendary Cuts

I believe there are no cut autos from Cobb, Ruth Gehrig etc... and the Quad cut signatures from this years product looks less than impressive. Is this still a premium product?

It's a pretty bad checklist. Upper Deck has been awfully disappointing this year and I don't see any end to it. ::facepalm::
