Fellow FCB denizens... I would greatly appreciate your input; I am considering having JSA authenticate a baseball I got from Goodwill.com a few years ago. It is a Reach ball, and is signed by more than 20 of the 1939 World Champion Yankees. I don't have it in front of me, but some of the sig's are: Joe Dimaggio, Joe McCarthy, Bill Dickey, Lefty Gomez and I believe Lou Gehrig on the sweet spot(mostly by the very distinctive (L"). The ball is quite faded, but having the team roster I was able to identify every signature... My question is whether it is worthwhile to pay the $$$$$ to have it authenticated since it is faded, and that would greatly affect the cost if I were to sell it. I have no idea what it will cost to authenticate it, and any insight would be very much appreciated.

Since ProPicHosting is evidently going under I cannot post any pictures

Thanks for reading!

(1) Get a photobucket account.

(2) If you plan on selling it -- despite the condition -- get it authenticated.

I remember when you originally posted about buying that ball (I think).
