I'm a sellers dream buyer. I pay within 24 hrs of winning a card and leave feedback the day I receive the card.

As a seller, I give extra effort (in mailing out their cards quickly) to buyers that pay me quickly (within a day or so) and take my time (not really, but I don't go rushing out to the post office) if/when I receive payment for people who take their time and pay.

Why can't people pay within a reasonable amount of time? I don't understand how you bid on a card and then email the seller saying you don't have the money now and will pay in a week....so why not just not bid?!

I pay quick and ship quick also. Sometimes though, if I win an item and can't pay for a bit, it's because I stupidly forgot that I set a snipe on it (usually an auction that has 7 days on it, at which point I really do set it and forget it) and therefore, I email the seller kindly what happened and that I would pay within X amount of days. Every time so far, the seller has been understandable and let me slide. I don't do it often thankfully.

Sometimes I forget to ship stuff, like today where I noticed something that I thought I had shipped last week sitting on my desk.

::facepalm::

I actually did that last week also. One of the packages must have fallen out of the pile and so I emailed the seller and refunded the shipping cost and he was happy with that response.

I pay immediately after winning the card.

I ship 1-2 days the latest after receiving payment for card (depends on the day of the week) with D/C.

the thing that irks me more than anything is buyer's feedback

as a buyer, 99 times out of 100, i leave feedback as soon as i open the package and it's to my liking.

i sell cards to people and see they don't leave feedback until a week or more after it's delivered. or not at all.

that just pisses me off. just let me know you're happy, you know?

same for paying. i'll pay within a few hours of winning every time. maybe one out of my last 100 or so purchases has taken me two or three days to pay. it's just annoying as a seller when these things aren't reciprocated.

as a seller, i'll usually ship the next day, at most it takes three to four days. that happens every so often, but most of the time you're card will leave in two days, not business days but just two days. come to think of it, i purchased something not too long ago and it took the seller like 6 days to ship (it was a big seller too) which is unacceptable imo. when it's a big warehouse seller, 6 days is way too long to wait to ship.

I usually bid within the last minute of an auction, so I pay right after. I usually ship the next day or maybe 2 days after receipt of payment.

i agree however if the buyer contacts me asking for more time to pay i have no issue with that. its the buyers that dont contact you and dont respond and dont pay until you file a NPB against them.

I must piss a lot of people off.

I bid on lots of stuff and usually just put in minimum bids, I rarely check what's ending when. I pay in chunks once or twice a week.

I ship twice a week, which is either way fast if you paid last night or way slow if it was three days ago. Depending upon my schedule and my wife's, I might make it every other day. Last week and again this week I have a few packages that are later than usual, I shoot the winner an email letting them know about the delay. I've been doing a lot of OT the past few weeks and the wife has been going to the post office for me, this week she works Mon/Tue and can't make the PO until Wednesday.

I leave feedback once a month, I just blow through 5-6 pages all at once. Everyone gets positives and 5-star DSRs, no worries.

I don't understand how people bid on stuff and don't pay immediately. You were at your computer to bid, why not pay right when it says you won? Also, I know the average person checks email like, a million times a day, so how do they not see the "You won this item" email? The latest I ever pay is until the end of the night if I'm bidding on other stuff so I can pay all at once.

I almost always pay within a few minutes of buying. Almost always when I'm at the computer when the auction ends.

I will bid on a card if I know I will have the money in a maximum of 2 days, at the most.

However, when I do that, I hardly go to the $ amount I would if I hand the money in hand at the moment.

As for shipping, I try my best, but sometimes I just can't help being a few days late.

However, I had someone pay for an auction last night that ended on May 27th. And there's another auction not yet paid for that ended on June 1st..

I just don't understand the concept of buying and waiting to pay. If you go to a store you have to pay so why wait on ebay? Of course snipes go off in the middle of the night or I'm working late/out late but it's not hard to pay within 24 hours at the very least. If I'll be out of town when an auction ends I ask the seller first if it's ok to pay late.

I also try and extend the same courtesy when I ship as who wants to wait for a paid item? I get that people have lives and that things come up but it's just another responsibility we as users of ebay have to fit into our lives. If people can't do it properly they shouldn't use the site.

Sorry for the rant but it's annoying to say the least.
