Palmeiro claimed that he got set up. Say he did it the right way to achieve his 20 years career and it was the B-12 Vitamin that got him positive.

I was thinking about this today.I wish these guys would just admit they used(if they did).Look at all of the guys who said they did and do you hear much about it anymore?Nope. It died down. Its what I was thinking about today.

Clemens denied and denied and denied. Now he is facing possible perjury charges.Hardin had to have had the foresight to sit down and ask these questions.
1.Did you use.
2.If you did...what kind of evidence can be found of your use?Is there a good chance someone can prove you did.
3.We have been invited to speak in a hearing being conducted by a congressional committee. What kind of repurcussions could come from lying to them if they find out we did.
4.Add the possible evidence they may have against you on top of the repurcussions you could face and subtract the damage done if you simply admit your use.

Admitting you used tarnishes reputation and chances for HOF.Lying does not only both of those but also could mean jail time and cost you thousands in court costs and lawyer fees.

To me...it seems a dumb idea to deny it.Obviously these guys want to crucify people who lie about using.Nothing of note has happened to anyone who has admitted they did.All I can say is either Roger(and Palmiero) are either really freaking dumb...or they really don't think they used anything.I know I may not be the smartest person in the world but I have a hell of a time believing the latter.

When Palmeiro was doing the ****** commercials, some of the media was asking why would a professional athlete, a guy supposedly in good shape, in his mid 30s would endorse something designed for guys 15-20 years old than him.

Point being, maybe he was open to experimenting with different drugs to keep up with the rest of his peers. Him endorsing ****** should have been a clue.

I have always been a huge fan of his. I am from mississippi and remember him when I was a kid and he played at MSU with Will Clark. I dont think he is saying he was set up, just that the B-12 was tainted. At least he is a NCAA HOF'er.

Here is my take. If someone accused me of committing a crime & I know I didn't do it, I will fight my ass off to prove my innocent. Palmerio on the other hand stay quiet for years and only later blame his own teammates on getting b-12 needles.

Maybe a cream or pills from teammate but as a professionally athlete would I be stupid enough to get needles shot other than my trainer/doctor-nurse? These steroids user have something to hide and to continue lying is not helping its cause.

He stated that he got a potentially-tainted B-12 shot from Tejada not long after testing positive for steroids. He was not mum on the subject for years afterwards before throwing this scenario out there. Granted, if it were me I would have fought tooth and nail to clear my name if I was innocent, and Palmeiro didn't exactly do that despite his allegation implicating Tejada.
