Just thought I would share my thoughts about the Raleigh Easter Weekend show this past weekend. I was a little surprised to see as good of a turnout as the show had. There weren't as many dealers there as there were at previous shows but with it being a one day only show, I figured as much AND it was on a holiday weekend.

I saw a pretty decent amount of cards at the show. Many dealers had a nice mix of vintage, old, and new stuff including prospects. I did see a really nice Cameron Maybin BC gold refractor RC graded PSA 10 and a few others. There were some stunningly nice vintage dealers there that had some amazing stuff.

The highlight of the day came when I ran into Mike(200lb). He showed me some of his custom cut cards that he has made. I know some of you on here have seen scans but let me tell you, THEY DO NOT DO THESE CARDS JUSTICE! These things were amazing and I would put them up against anything any of the major manufacturers could ever come up with! Thanks for sharing Mike. My wife thought you were a cool guy too. She was impressed that you took on a project like that to make cards like that.

Thanks Scott.

By the way Brian...I posted my "dumpster-diving" haul in a previous thread.
