Looks like he wants nothing to do with Machida right now. I know he says he doesn't like Rashaad for getting up in his face and that's his motivation. He also said he wants to work on his game more. I see that as admitting he can't beat Machida right now (I don't think anyone can). I like Rampage and can't wait to see him KO Evans. Should be a great season

I cant imagine Rampage is dodging him. He is great but Rampage is a tough dude and likes top notch opponents. I think Rampage/Rashad is the better fight anyway, and the season is better having them both as coaches.

How do you think Randy Couture would do against Machida?Couture has talked about going to 205,maybe if beats Nog,he gets a shot.

That's one of the rumors. Randy is the king of taking fighters out of their game but I just don't see anyone beating Machida right now.

Couture could be one guy I would see as having the chance to beat Machida

Machida is nowhere near unbeatable, as there are many holes in his game, which Randy would expose quickly.

Problem is Randy's age and durability. Machida can go the distance, and im just not sure Randy can

Couture is too old. Guy w/ best shot is who they have slated to fight him - Shogun. Someone needs to close the distance on Machida. Something Evans failed to do. I'm not completely convinced on Machida, just yet.

I haven't watched him enough too see any holes,i've seen the Evans match and i was impressed,i saw him against Ortiz and he dominated him.His defense is mighty good.I believe you have to find someone who can get him to the ground, there i believe he can be beaten by a good bjj/sub fighter.I believe ShoGun will get takenout in the 1st round, his 3 matches in the UFC are average at best, injuries or not.

I would love to see CroCop fight him at 205! :o

Machida is a black belt in BJJ. I'm not saying there aren't better ground guys, but he'd be far from an easy-out on the ground.
