Re: RANDOM THOUGHTS/QUESTIONS/ANSWERS/PHOTOS

Ubaldo Jimenez is straight DEALING this season. Probably the best pitcher in the game so far after 5+ straight wins to start the year.

JESUS. I just randomly clicked on Beckett's site out of boredom, I click on an article that looked semi-interesting and I sat there for 2 minutes waiting for it to take me to the article until I finally said F it. What an awful freaking site in every sense of the word. Do they NOT know how bad their site is? Even after all this time??? I would be embarrassed to tell anyone I'm a part of that nonsense. It's literally one of the worst sites I have ever been on.

LMAO, I did the same thing a while back. I clicked on the site to see if it didnt suck, was about to look around but it didnt work. left to get some food and came back 25 minutes later and it didnt had yet to load! :|

Re: RANDOM THOUGHTS/QUESTIONS/ANSWERS/PHOTOS

Magglio Ordonez' homerun and RBI production (8 HRs/40 RBIs/51 games) through a third of 2010 is almost as good as his entire 2009 season (9 HRs/50 RBIs/131 games).

I always wonder why the all-time no-hitter list doesn't also contain pitchers who pitched perfect games, since they did in fact also pitch a no-hitter.

Why are some eBay sellers so very stupid? I make an offer on a card, the person declines with no counter-offer. Then I see that they accepted an offer for $20 less than I would have paid had they simply worked with me. Freaking morons.

I need to do some scanning. Jeesh. I'm also thinking about ordering a pizza. My cat is laying next to me and I'll feel bad for getting up.

How many cards can one typically fit in a single 3-inch ring binder using 9 card pages? 500? 1,000?

Looking to purchase supplies and I need to figure out how many binders I need to get. Thanks.

Depends on the size of the binder. How many inches is the spine of what you are using?

You overestimate the Jedi powers that sellers have.

I have one with 65 pages...two cards per pocket (front and back). It's right at the point of starting to "bulge". In other words, it's full.
That's 1170 cards.

This sounds about right. I usually say 25 pages per inch if two cards in each pocket.

Therion & carlitoson - Thanks a lot for the help guys. I like to look at the backs so I just put only 9 cards per page. So at least 1,000 cards per binder, possibly as much as 1,200 or 1,300.

Just read on the back of a Buster Posey card that he wrote a check to cover two years of Florida Seminoles charter flights. Pretty cool.

Case busters should have the option of purchasing sorted vendor boxes from manufacturers at reduced cost :D
