Re: RANDOM THOUGHTS/QUESTIONS

Termites cannot see, taste, or smell. This explains why they built a home in my daughter's soccer ball in the backyard.

Starting to feel like the old BMB... amusing posts, valid for their entertainment value, being deleted immediately. *sigh*

Was George W Bush the worst president of all time?

It's pretty hard to be worse than Martin Van Buren

Not a fan of the Panic of 1837?
Was that truly his fault?

I personally am not a satisfied American when I review the years of Chester Arthur

It wasn't completely his fault, but he took a deflationary stance on a failing economy. Any Econ Majors that read the previous sentence just involuntarily shivered. It's trying to put a fire out with gasoline

He also had a fair hand in the policy of the government to overtax the southern states to pay for developing the northern states, which ultimately led to the Civil War. (Feel free to debate me over the importance of slavery to the Civil War)

Re: RANDOM THOUGHTS/QUESTIONS

This will sound stupid, but does anyone else picture the people on here as whoever or whatever they have in their sig or what not? Like if a person has a picture of David Wright as their profile pic, I subconsciously picture them looking like David Wright, and so on...

When I see Jeff N post, I picture him as the guy with the gun. I can't tell who that is, but it looks like...well I'm not sure.

Re: RANDOM THOUGHTS/QUESTIONS

If you ever have to go into a store or a bank to complain about something, you should get dressed up to do so. Wearing a shirt and tie and complaining gives the impression that you're use to having things a certain (proper) way. It also gives the impression that you are very busy and have other things to do, thus the store or bank personnel will be less likely to call security or the police if they think they'll only get yelled at for 5 minutes or so.

Wearing something like a flannel shirt may get you mistaken for a homeless guy. I'm sure the store or bank officials won't hesitate to have you dragged out if you look like some random blue collar worker.
