Thought this was an interesting read. To summarize, Randy:
-Praises Miguel Montero, while at the same time subtly bashing everyday catcher Chris Snyder, one of the leaders on and off the field for the D-backs.
-Subtly bashes the D-backs current management group (don't blame him here).
-And of course: He made it clear that his sentimental home is in Seattle, just in case the Hall of Fame was curious as to what hat he'd like to wear for eternity.
"I'd say the biggest thrill I got was going back to Seattle," Johnson said. "The time I spent there, what it meant to me and my career . . . I had more wins there than any place else, more time there then any place else. It was kind of my steppingstone. All the other teams I played for kind of reaped the benefits . .
I'm not sure on the rules, but I didn't think he could choose which team he goes in with. Regardless, yet another one of the franchises biggest players leaves town unhappy. D-backs management should seriously reconsider the treatment of some of their players.
