Hey, since my A's were pretty much eliminated in May, I was rooting for Texas to make a long run at Anaheim, or at least the wild card. They did, but I think it's over for them.
As pointed out on BBT, in the last 5 games they have 1 run. 1 run bleeping run! First time that's happened in the AL since 1964. Yikes!
They were scoring like crazy before Oakland threw up a bunch of zeroes against them. Oh well, that kind of inconsistency is kinda typical of young teams. But what's surprising is that it's the bats that are dead, not the young pitching.
I hope I'm wrong, but I think they're done.
