Thanks for the scan of your Andruw Gold Complete Player. I guess I didn't know about them since A-Rod doesn't have a GOLD version since he was in the Score Rookie and Traded instead of the regular Score. Is card #A more difficult to find or something because our friends at Burbank have cards B and C at a ridiculous cheaper price than the A cards they have listed? Thanks

Thanks,I had to pay Burbank prices for the 1998 cards but the true blue is impossible to find so im happy.

I also just picked a 1999 Carlos Beltran star rubies /50!!!

When you say you have all cards from 1998 does that mean 1/1's as well? Because if I ever get find all of Alex's non-1/1 cards from 1997 I will consider myself to have all of his cards from that year.

Either way, it's a fantastic accomplishment. Great job and good luck on 1999. I will never make it that far.

His first 1/1 was in 1999.Thanks,he has like 150 cards in 1999 so that should take a few years.

Picked these up (along with a '93 McGwire and a '92 Gooden from ebay). First cards I've bought in YEARS that were not part of my player collections. When these sets came out I wanted them so bad! But I also remember being around 12 years old at the time and being somewhat mad at Donruss for producing cards that a 12 year old would never be able to afford! I'm seriously thinking about building the sets (91-98, 01-05). Who am I kidding, I wouldn't have picked these up if I wasn't gonna do the sets

I don't see it in there. Beckett did a poor job with the jumbos from this time frame. Most all of the McGwires aren't listed in there. Those are usually listed under blow-ups

Awesome card. Congrats. That has got to be the hardest parallel to get in the entire 1990s. I found one of A-Rod years ago and the guy wanted $700. I've picked up commons a couple of times and they are some nice looking cards. I'm sure it feels good to mark that one off of your list. Again, congratulations.
