It barely makes the cut, but it's my favorite RC of my favorite player:

I had a Gold /25 but I sold it and have regretted it since. I do have two of these /100 though.

Not sure. Beckett's checklist only seems to have the counterpart cards listed under non-glossy. Of the 75-80 I pulled they were all counterpart cards. Onionring9 has one listed on his website but I can't tell based on the picture can you?

According to the SCD catalog, 100 of the 200 Limited Exposures were printed in error on the non-glossy/non-chrome stock. But there is no checklist of which 100 cards they were. I know Grace/Erstad was one, as I have both versions. The non-glossy do say "Limited Exposure" on back. They value them at 25% of regular Limited Exposures.

Magic,

I'm with GraceCollector on this one - there isn't any way of knowing for certain.

Market observation says 'no'.

I've never encountered or seen a Thomas Star Factor version without the 'refractor' sheen (aka Non-Glossy) but still carrying the 'Limited Exposure' tag.

The only one I have is The Counterparts.

Bornagain, Those cards say they have a print run of 40 but it's a lot more than that. I guess they are sort of like the 97 Mirror Golds where they say there are 30 of them but in reality there are a lot more. Either way it's a nice card.

I would disagree with this point. I've never seen a substantial amount of the 1997 Donruss Limited Star Factors Limited Exposures. Unlike the 1997 Pinnacle Certified Mirror Golds, of which there seems to be an endless supply.

Pinnacle never stated 30 for the 1997 Mirror Golds, that was a poor assumption made by Beckett and other market people early on. The Donruss Limited was a "controlled" product with clear established print runs, this was printed in one run unlike Certified (5 print runs)

Wow, some really nice cards through this thread!

Here are some inserts...not as rare as some of the others on here, but I like them anyway.

what I have been trying to find out for a while-

has anyone, at anytime... . . . completed the crusades?? I know it would be the hardest set of all time, but it is possible IMO if you have tons of $$$$/savy.

Im hoping to complete it within 40 years (that wasnt a joke) and was just wondering if its been done
