Was wondering how many others have these cards.

I have been looking for the A-Rod forever. It's the one card of his I lack from 1994. Is your Trot Nixon #ed 11G or 11D?

It's numbered 11D. I have had 2 of the Nixon's. Bought one from a collector of Nixon paid 16$ for it and the other was on ebay, which I paid 12 for. I think the Nixon books at 100$. Have you seen an A-Rod?

If old Yukon Cornelius collected baseball cards, bet he'd be a "prospector." ::facepalm::

Rare?

This sample card had the set named 1998 Leaf Rookie & Chase. The actual set was then named 1998 Leaf Rookies & Stars.

I think those are pretty tough. Donyboy23 was always looking for those. I found his old ebay page and it mentioned he was looking for "any", so I'm assuming those are pretty rare. And, Jeter always sells well anyway.

I bet you had to fight some Junior Ortiz collectors for that bad boy. Pretty sweet collectible right there!

I got it for 3 bucks after the intense bidding war.

Yeah, I don't care how many snuck out the back door on the 1997 Mirror Red Blue and Golds. I love them. If I can pick up those cards for less than $10 each, its worth it to me. I'm glad he has a ton of them. I won a few Clark Red and Blues from him for $2 to $4. And I've personally had about 10 Golds, so I know they are common, but still beautiful cards.

Okay, never thought of them as something for player collectors, but whatever. (is mine a "charter" variation?) I need to find the third year card, but it wasn't like these two. It was just a thin plastic card, no pictures on it.

I wish I could find mine!! Sadly, I think they may have gotten thrown out over the years...
