"Rare" 90s inserts

Well, I tried to get the one major card I need for my Biggio PC, but my crazy snipe wasn't enough. It sold for $301 and it seems like the buyer was willing to go much, much higher based on the bid history.

I was watching the Biggio Red auction too. Great looking card!

That fushion atomic is a great pickup at 1/6th of the price of the crusade with the same print run... you should be very happy.

You guys happen to se the closing price for the Nomo red? 1k plus

sevencostanza: Glad it went to a board member. I should have used a better scan for the z-gold. Those marks are on the toploader.

NECpilgrims8: Congrats! Love that Mirror Image Atomic! Was watching both of those and was tempted to bid on the atomic just because it looks so nice.

I had snipes set for both of those and also the '97 Fractal Matrix Gold Die Cut that the same seller had listed. None fired as the sell price was above my limits

Really pleased however that you were able to pick up at least one of the cards.

Ha, I found the Frank Thomas and the Roger Clemens from this set the other day. I think they were numbered to something like 10K. I'm fairly certain that these were my first serial#'d cards

You should go for the Canvas ones (First 500 of the set). I pulled a Paul Konerko back in the day. Pretty cool card.

Nice.I actually got a Bagwell Platinum press proof in a lot I just purchased a few days ago.I was going to show off a lot of the cards but most of them are 200 and 2001 so I figured it doesn't really pertain to this thread.
