First off, great pickups everyone! I had to go back over 10 pages to get caught up!

Secondly, the serial numbering on the 1998 Topps Gold Label Red cards are normally red also, however I think I have seen 1/1 with the clear embossed serial number on the back of the card. In 1999 Topps added a gold sparkle to the backs of the 1/1 cards to distinguish them. I thought that I had a scan of the back of a 1999 1/1 but I can't find one to show.

Is it normal for the numbering on the back to blend into the card? There is no way of telling its numbered unless you feel back of the card.

I just broke a box of this, 1999 Fleer Brilliants, no stated odds on the box, only that they are numbered out of 24. I'll have a post in the box break boards later on tonight.

Cant wait to see what you pulled.

Here's the link to the 1999 Fleer Brilliants Box Break

I don't check this thread often, but I can answer with certainty that the 1999 gold label /100 serial numbers were not stamped with any sort of foil or anything, just kind of stamped, but without foil. what brumbach said about the the 1/1s is correct. can't wait for my thomas to get back from BGS :D

Nice.I actually just picked one of these finest jumbos up.There has been a Bagwell on ebay forever with a BIN of $15 or a starting bid of $8.99.I always thought that I would be able to find one for a little less and I was actually able to go ahead and snag one for like $4.Not bad.

I got the Dominators for $2.99 delivered and the Finest for $2.74 delivered. Pretty happy with those prices.
