The stickers and card backs were listed as seperate "cards" by Beckett. The stickers always came in the same pairing but appeared pretty randomly on different "Backs"

There is a finite amount of combination per player. I'm not sure what each count is though, I'm assuming it's different depending on the sticker number.

McGwire had 3 stickers in that set #3, #151, #172. There are the following amount of combos for those stickers:

#3 had 9 different combinations on the back
#151 had 4 different combinations on the front
#172 had 3 different combinations on the front

Red foil instead of Gold or Silver. Here is the break down of the variations for Henderson. Not sure if other players had more or less variations.

1998 Pacific Online - Speculating it's Gold Foil
1998 Pacific Online Red - Red Foil
1998 Pacific Online Web Cards - Have Not Seen One
1998 Pacific Online Winners - Have Not Seen One

Did you know there are multiple versions? Some players had multiple cards, but I believe all had gold auto/non-auto'd.

Everyone can shoot me later for invading this cool thread with the wrong sport, but I just don't have anything as cool as everybody else's stuff! So this is as close as I can get.

1993 & 1994 Action Packed 24K cards. The Marino All-Madden team is numbered 1517/1750 on the back. I also liked the braille cards they made, but I'd have to dig one of those up to scan.

ive been thinking about this the last few days. i didnt follow baseball cards after 1993-ish

The thing is, 1997/98 Select Totally Certified Golds in Hockey are /69
in baseball, they are /30

thats a large discrepancy. Was it possible across the board that baseball card production was down
vs the other three sports?

20 Pages late I know.. better late than never :)

The 1997/98 Hockey Pinnacle Totally Certified Golds were never intended to be #/59, they were supposed to be #/29. It wasn't until after the product was on shelves that the printing error was noticed. To satisfy customers Pinnacle offered to anyone who sent in a Certified Gold #/59, a Mirror Gold version #/25. The card sent in was supposed to be destroyed(not returned). The Mirror Gold version is beautiful in person and I've rarely seen them as many weren't redeemed, no idea if they ended up out the backdoor or not but I've only seen 2-3 of Beezer out there.

The one on the far left is a Promo with black ink printed on, the other 2 use Gold Foil stamping.

Cards were supposed to be #/999 with the first 100 sent to the players, but after the 1996 season, Topps released a statement that they supposedly destroyed 400 sets, making them #/599.
