I picked up this 1996 Leaf Signature Platinum Press Proof recently. I noticed when I scanned it today that about one third of the Leaf Signature logo is missing part of it's refractorish finish (not sure what you call it). Is that unusual?

If you look closely, there is an "AP" stamp in the bottom left corner.

The refractor finish itself parallels the Bowman's Best Mirror Image Refractor, and even the 1996 Bowman's Best Atomic Refractor.

Whoa, just noticed that my embossed refractor has a wavy line, unlike the Smoltz!

finally won a longevity #/50

Will provide better scan when it gets here. The pic on ebay was so small that i had to zoom in 400%, so pic is really bad. Hope it looks nice in person? Does anyone have a longevity scan they can share?

Not too rare, but the scan looks great...

As I recall, I think I picked this up in a random lot of Biggio cards, before I even really knew what it was.
