Can anyone tell me if this is the gold Artists Proof variation of the Jeter I got yesterday? I am thinking it might be but who knows?

You actually got the regular pinnacle artists proof, not the pinnacle plus so it is not the gold. You can tell by the card designs and numbers (PPxx vs APxx):

Pic 1) Regular Pinnacle
Pic 2) Regular Pinnacle Plus
Pic 3) Gold Pinnacle Plus

Anyone have a complete set of gold cans from 98 Pinnacle Inside? My Dad and I went around to every 7-11 and gas
station in Orlando hunting down them...nice set. Pinnacle advertised a can holder but I have never seen
one..anyone help?
