A ton of these hit COMC a few years back, and the seller didn't really know what they were. I recall them being listed for a small premium, and then blowing up once everyone noticed them. Grabbed a Grace and a Schilling for myself, and ended up flipping a Gwynn for close to $20.

I am not exactly seeing it but what is the "tab"? And what info is on these?

Well, guess since I'm the guy that mentioned them, I should show mine. They are rare and under the radar. Worth it to grab them when you see them, if you see them. If Beckett added them to their checklist, you'd see a price jump.

did you see the grace that sold for a .50 opening bid in august ?
also , is it safe to assume that not all players have a version with a tab (or at least a tab on their hats) ? i ask because it seems that every kevin appier has what could be viewed as a tab (the bill of his hat) while all mo vaughn's seem to have a tab (consisting of his shoulder) with no logical place available for a tab on his hat...many others (brian jordan as just one example) has nothing but his face along the die-cut edge and there would seem to be nothing there that could be considered "tab-able"
