Wow.

I'm not a fan of the dude, but this doesn't hurt a thing!

Not a bad WR3 to have, as he'll be 3rd to Boldin and Mason.

Ravens agreed to terms with WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh on a one-year, $855,000 contract.

This one comes out of left field. The Ravens already have two aging possession-type receivers in Anquan Boldin and Derrick Mason, so it's hard to see where Housh fits. If you haven't drafted yet, don't take Housh. He's the No. 3 receiver at best in a run-heavy offense. If you have drafted him already, it's not crazy to drop him for a free agent. The egotistical former Seahawk is an extremely inexpensive gamble as insurance for the Ravens, but there's no fantasy upside here. Sep. 6 - 11:29 am et

Wow, didn't see that coming.

Dude, tell me about it. :?

I also think that writer is either biased or someone kicked his puppy. Housh is far from worthless and I guarantee he will be able to supplement this offense greatly.

I actually would rather see a Boldin/Housh combo than a Boldin/Mason combo right now. (No dissrespect to my man Mason of course.)

I know I that the Bears may have made a play for him. OOOOOPsss sorry let me rephrase that. Jerry Angelo and Lovie Smith can not evaluate talent, so why would I have thought they would even want this guy.

How long do you think it will be until Housh has a chance to make a significant contribution?

And yeah if you couldn't tell I took him as a starting WR on my fantasy team. Doh!
Unlike the article - I think it was a good pick up and he's going to have an impact......just not sure if they'll throw him right into the mix or if they'll bring him in slowly.

AWESOME!!!!! :benson:

When he was with Cincy, he was more trouble for the Steelers than OchoCinco was. They have quite an offense now.

I'd be willing to bet that TJ asked for a low salary so the Seahawks had to pay! IM surprised by the team for sure, i would have guessed the Raiders or Bears or Redskins!

well...that means the Seahawks will pay Housh 7.145 million dollars to play for the Ravens this year.

Freakin fantastic.

Another head-scratcher from Petey! I don't get this one at all. Unless there was some locker room problem that hasn't been reported in the media, this one makes no sense.

Housh was going to make the minimum from any team, since he and they knew the Hawks were on the hook for the rest of it. He pretty much got to pick his team from all of the teams that expressed interest in him.

And Mason is the #3 WR by week 3.

Agreed, and happy with that.

But only because of potential injury. Mason is injury prone as they come at this point.

Crap... According to espn this morning he had narrowed it down to the skins and raiders. As a raiders fan i was really hoping to get him since chaz is gonna miss a few weeks. Oh well the ravens are gonna be even better now

I would love for the Cowboys to play Roy Williams to play somewhere else, if that makes you feel any better.

I'm sure a lot of teams were willing to pick up TJ for minimum wage which allowed TJ to pick his team. Baltimore is one of the Super Bowl favorites this year. TJ must be valuing a ring opportunity more than touches. I can respect that.

Still one of the best fantasy football commercials ever. Laughed again.

"Championship."
