6 games in the last 2 weeks Joel Peralta has blown a lead for the Rays in the 8th inning and they have lost. HEY MADDON! Ask the Cubs about Carlos Marmol. Bench Peralta before its to late. I just do not understand where a manager's brain is, how do you leave a guy in to give up 4 runs in the 8th inning?
I went to ESPN just to check the scores and had seen the Rays lost 6-4 and thought to m self the bullpen blew another one in the late innings. Sure as S-HIT.

MADDON pull your head out of your ass!

This AL Wild Card race is indeed wild.

Rays still hanging on by a thread...what will decide the two teams is this upcoming series between the Rangers and Rays. Whoever wins that series will win 1 wild card spot with Cleveland taking the other.

You never know, the streaky Royals might decide to win all 6 of their games this week (3 against Cleveland and 3 against Texas). If the Rangers and Rays split their 4 game series, it's quite possible that neither of them make the playoffs. The Yankees have an incredibly easy schedule down the stretch (and aside from the 3 games at KC, the Indians have a cupcake schedule as well).

It's just too bad the Royals have Ned Yost, the worst manager in baseball, running things or they'd likely have another 4-7 wins -- his managerial decisions have been absolutely indefensible at times. I'd gladly trade him for Maddon (and thrown in Dayton Moore as well -- 2 years of Shields for 7 years of Myers - what a dumb trade).
