Exact same thing happened when the Pats beat them in 2007. How hard is it to not dive at a QBs legs 3 seconds after the ball is thrown when you are explicitly told not to? Anyone dumb enough to do that after all the warnings in the offseason deserves a penalty.
And I find it funny that both Lewis and the writer are saying that the refs did NOT decide the game, but fail to mention the bad calls that went against the Pats, like the phantom unnecessary roughness call on Mike Wright. Maybe Lewis should have been more focused on tackling Sammy Morris on one of his like 9 first downs than he was on the refs.

He didn't dive at Brady's legs. He was pushed, stumbled and forward momentum carried him. Anyone with a tv knows this by now.

Except Tom Brady and his fans.

Didn't look intentional to me at all but I only saw one replay of it.

The rule is you can't be diving (or do anything that looks like diving, whether it's your fault or not) at a QBs legs. He did that. I don't understand the big confusion here.

;) Just because we don't see eye to eye on everything doesn't mean we can't get along from time to time.

I doubt Bernard Pollard tried to hurt Brady last year, and I doubt Jared Allen meant to hurt the guys he hit low last year either. The point is there's a rule against doing anything like that, regardless of intent. I just don't get why the Ravens have to make excuses everytime NE beats them.
Forgot to add in the OP, here's the Ed Reed part:

I love Ed Reed...but when you say "It probably wouldn't have been a first down anyway, but it would've been closer," it kinda seems like your grasping at straws.

biggest problem to me is every week we see a qb running out and firing off a "block" by going at the legs of a defensive lineman... if they can hit that way they should be able to get hit that way! either that or make them untouchable... cause when qbs go low they never get a flag thrown!

Weak call. As R.Harrison commented, Brady should take off the skirt and put on a pair pants.
