Kazmir officially hits the DL - I'd assume Davis is a lock to come up.

As for the guy that said Niemann is garbage, exactly on what grounds do you base that opinion on? First year in the majors and the guy is holding his own. He has the kept the Rays in almost every game he's pitched in. Just needs to get the walks down, which he did last time out. Sonnanstine and Kazmir have been the problem, not Niemann.

Crap! One of my fantasy teams are getting kick in the groin this season.

I can't understand why they don't put Sonnanstine in the pen (or demote him) to make room for Davis. Sonny has been almost as bad as Kaz this year.

Especially since he has options left. He's pitching tonight, hopefully he does well. I'll be in Miami for the games tomorrow and Sunday, can't wait!

Niemann throws a 2-hit shutout tonight. I'm sure people will just say "it was the Royals." I don't care if he was facing a AAA team. He has been very good for this team.
