I hate to see him go, absolutley loved the guy. Way better than Gonzo IMO. Hope Billy Wagner still has it, didn't follow him much with the Sox last year. :?

I would love if we got him. It would finally give us a closer, I just hope that the Braves are going to pay some of the salary.

Looks like we will give up Jesse Chavez. So we basically traded Aki for Soriano. I'll take it!

Great deal for us... finally we have a reliable guy to go out and close for use. Great deal and I just heard that we're about to aquire Milton Bradley. That would make me very happy about what they did this winter meetings. and trust me they won't be done. I heard they said the payroll will be up to $70-$75 million for this year. at least one more signing is in the near future

Acquiring Milton Bradley is a good thing?

Yes... I personally think he is a good fit for Tampa. Switch hitter whos power is more from the Left. He's a guy we need. Joe Maddon deals with trouble makers very well. BJ Upton... Delmon Young (yes they traded him but he was able to deal with him. they simply traded him to get a quality starter)

I think Bradley is a good #6 hitter for us to give us some pop in the bottom half of the lineup

Although Bradley is talented, only Barry Bonds ranks higher on my all time list of players that I would NEVER want to see on my team. Soriano was a very good pickup, however.
