Predictions for tonight's game?

I'm going with Tribe on a late-inning homer (8th or 9th) from Swisher to win 2-1.

I feel that Rays have the experience, but I have personally seen Danny Salazar pitch 3 times this year in Double-A, and this kid IS the REAL DEAL. If he gets in trouble early, I think Tito goes to the bullpen (Salazar can hit 97-98 on fastball). With that being said, I think Indians crowd is into the game, like the Pirates last night, and I feel Indians will WIN the game by a score of 4-2.

Francona and the Indians will be heading to Boston!

I think Tito said "Masty" is ready to come in if Salazar falters at all.

Praying the Indians win this one. My prediction is 4-1 Indians.

Not only [IMO] the Sox will have an easier time going against Cleveland, but Farrell vs. Francona?? MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!!!

Man, do I wish we never made that trade. That guy can pitch. A rotation of Lester, Buchholz, Lackey, Masterson, and Doubront would have been amazing this year.

Wow just checked out Salazar's line in his short time in the bigs. Impressive. He doesn't walk many and he strikes out a ton. Looks like his only downfall is letting up HRs so as long as he can keep the ball in the park this is going to be a great game. This might be the most excited I have been to watch a non-Red Sox game in ages.

When I saw Salazar pitch in Double-A, the HR was his only hiccup, but tonight he's pitching awesome, other than.....the LONG ball. Still early, He was hitting 98 in Double-A, was ridiculous, the way he was making hitters look. I did hear though, tonight he's on a 75-80 pitch count (supposedly). In Double-A he was on a 50 pitch count (Had Tommy John Sugery in 2010), but dude can.....PITCH

Two observations thus far...

1. Gerry Davis is doing an excellent job with balls and strikes behind home plate. Pitcher's strike zone, but not unfairly so, and he's been consistent. Even was smart enough to allow himself to be overruled when he missed the foul tip strike three to Bourn to start the game.

2. Speaking of foul tips, Jose Molina has been great receiving pitches behind home plate and calling the game. Gone with more curveballs and fastballs rather than changeups, since the Indians tried to sit change up on Cobb. He's also caught multiple foul tip third strikes.
