Good for you.

That is what we were talking about. There are no other fees. Thanks though.

Same exact listing? Happy? My seller rating also shows my descriptions are just fine. Thanks.

The majority of fees come from ebay and paypal. Remember those fees?

[quote="Jeff N.":3i091qae]He didn't lose 20%. He lost $1.50, before ebay costs, which is less than 2%.

It's not what I need, it's what customers need. They need their diapers changed and fed with a spoon. You may not want their business, which is your choice. That doesn't make it good business. Not answering questions is a good choice also. Stick to your guns and continue to lose 20% on your wax sales.

[quote="F-Topps":3i091qae]What more do you need? I sell all my boxes without any product info. When someone asks me for a checklist of a box or set or asks how many packs there are, I dont even respond. If they dont already know or havent looked at the product before I dont want their business.

[quote="Jeff N.":3i091qae]I've been trying to buy a box or two -- I was outsniped on eBay last night - the closing price was $61! $14 below factory cost! I don't know what the rest of the market is, but at $65-70 after shipping costs, I can't see you doing too well in flipping it unless you took advantage of the 30% live discount.

It's interesting to see how that plays out in the coming months. A LOT of people used that discount to get cheap product.

This is the entire listing:

2008 RAZOR BASEBALL SIGNATURE HOBBY BOX

PRE SALE

wonder why it sold for 70 shipped?

People ask others far too often for opinions when it comes to their own money and what should be done with it.

If people asking for opinions about what to do with things of value bothers you than this board must drive you nuts. 90% of the threads on here have money as an underlying theme from the pickups to the breaks to the prospect pimping threads.

It's not the threads dealing with money. What bothers me is people without the stones to make their own decisions and do their own research.

LOL are you really saying that I don't have the "stones to make their own decisions and do my own research?" You obviously don't know me very well.

I gotta say, I'm thinking 'hold'...

From the recent sales, I do not think you are assured to make a profit, or even break even, so if selling for a profit motivates you, then holding and hoping for demand and value to rise is really the only option. Sure, your taking a gamble that they will be worthless in a year as well, but to sell right now seems fruitless to me unless your just trying to dump and get something back.

If you had the stones to gamble on a unproven product like this in the first place, I say ride it out and eithor cash in big down the road or loose it all... If you decide to bust, rest assured that there is value in the fun of busting!

After .5 pages of responses and 2.5 pages of bickering I am leaning towards ripping half and holding/selling half. Of course like pringles and my five draft cases once you pop you just can't stop so we'll see how that goes.

I didn't say you, but this type of thread is rife with indicisive people. Obviously I don't know you well enough to know whether you make your decisions or rely on others. Either you are pimping a case or are indicisive. Either way, in my humble (and unrequested) opinion, I see Razor cases as a good investment if you have some time to set on them. There is plenty of value in this product.

Your opinion was requested inherently in the OP. I am not pimping anything and would fall under the category of indecisive at this point. I have dropped probably 4k into 08 BDP which has yielded mostly "holds" for me which is really the only reason I am thinking about not busting this.

Boxes going 85 shipped. If you got it using the 30% discount, I'd sell them and make some margin.100 autos plus base and base parallels is a lot of work and probably less margin than sealed boxes.

Well you obviously bought it to bust it so bust it.

Not sure why you determined that is obvious as it is in fact not even accurate.
then sell it. Its not really that hard to decide.
