Since this is probably going to be the "best" 2008 wax that Razor ever makes if the company makes it in the baseball card market, how will these boxes now be sold?

Due to unsforseen circumstances, we will NOT be releasing M baseball at the national...
No further details available at this time... Ill update you guys at a later date with more information....
I just arrived in Cleveland to find out there is a problem (not related to player content or anything of that sort)....
BG

I can understand you may not want to disclose the problem for various reasons but releasing the cause might be a good move to squelch the conspiracy theorists circling.

It is another parties' fault, but that doesn't lessen my regret not to launch this product at this event... BG

Agreed. But i believe that some people will certainly give you more slack if it was indeed another parties fault. I certainly will.

I know that if I had roughly $150,000 in new product that would be an almost instant (probably a week) sell-out and that it could not be released on time...I'd be far more livid than Razor appears to be with the 'cloak and dagger' tone.

Not only is this mysterious error pulling revenue out of Razor's pockets, more importantly it makes Razor look ridiculous after one business day ago everything was on schedule.

There are times to "play nice" and times to flash your teeth...expose those teeth.

It just sounds as though this was known for some time (hence the lack of emotion, shock, panic, anger, frustration, etc)...It just reminded me of the mystery anouncement's that we've recieved in the past from BG. :D

While we are not releasing information on the products non-release here, I can tell you that conspiracy theorists would be incorrect in their musings. It is a business decision not to release this product as previously intended this week.
When we have more information, we will share... Until then, any speculation is merely that.... speculation...

I can say categorically, that we WILL NOT release any product that we are NOT 100% satisfied with.
We have learned from previous releases and will ONLY release products that we are 100% satisfied with.

BG

p.s.- the product is already built and here in Cleveland (as we had every intention to release thursday at the show), we only made this decision to hold off this afternoon. Trust me. We made a good decision.

If I dopnt seem livid, its only because its beyond my control.... I am pissed... trust me... But, Ive been accused of being too "emotional" on this site and am trying to contain my excitement.. ask cgilmo how "happy" I was about this....

From this, my deduction is that a Topps rep crapped on the cards.

Excuse my ignorance, but what does "M" stand for? Thanks.

Mistake

John Hammond: All major theme parks have had delays. When they opened Disneyland in 1956, nothing worked!
Dr. Ian Malcolm: But, John. If the Pirates of the Caribbean breaks down, the pirates don't eat the tourists.

Guys Guys.... lets put away the torches and pitchforks.......While I am not a Razor collector I have done my share af chirping about this company, Lets give Brian the benefit of the doubt here and lets see where things fall out. After all...Razor never seems to be able to keep a secret around here as things have a way of getting out. So lets give him some space and I am sure that if things are not on the level...the truth will come out and THEN we can let Brian have it!! :)

For me I am skeptical but holding back to see where this all leads. Benefit of the doubt!!

I would go with metal.

I thought metal was already released.

I understand Razor's past quality issues that many members here have, however, if this was Topps or UD that had this happen, I doubt anyone would really think twice.

Production problems have happened before, and will continue to happen to all companies, not just Razor.
