I wonder if their wanting to have one Wieters auto per box may have had something to do with it. And wouldn't that kind of be flooding the market with his auto's and drive prices down? I would buy this product as long as it doesn't have the quality control issues that their chrome cards had.

Only 125 cases. How many boxes per case? Doesn't seem that crazy.

i dont think this was a secondary market thing

It is important to remember that this was a promotional item at the national, and not a mainstream distribution.

In 2006, when I went, TriStar was doing a promo set/99.

There was about 15 cards in the set, and it had Longoria, Upton, etc.

There was a regular set, but, the set/99 sold for almost $50 a card, and they were completely sold out.

yes, but there wouldn't have been massive outcry if they had to cancel it on short notice.

Point I was trying to make was that even though it is promotional items, they still sold very well, and it disappointing to not have them.

I wont be attending, but, I remember how fun it was to try and find the set/99 and snag an upton and longoria ...which I never did since I didnt want to pay $50 a card :/

Not sure why it is something to laugh at

I wonder what's the error

Is the whole idea scrapped or just the fact that they won't be ready this week?

I assume all else still the same?
(ie. destruction of cards) (promos/give aways)(benchwarmers)
People laugh because it's unbelievably typical of Razor.
Oh, I almost forgot...
::facepalm:: ::facepalm::

No. People laugh because they are idiots and have no sense of humor.

This is not funny and is something that can ultimately affect the lives of the employees of Razor.

Typical means that there is a track record of this before as well. There is nothing typical regarding this....

Anywhere Delta goes.
It has to be either contracts or lawsuits delaying this. Brian did say the product was in Cleveland. I for one am bummed I was looking forward to getting a box.

Is this going to turn up on Ebay by any chance (selling as single's)? :D

Doesn't the product consist of a bunch of metal cards that weren't sold? We've already seen those on Ebay :P

I liked them at the beginning, and I bought 9 boxes of razor, and a few metal autographs, but I just give up. Anyone wanna buy like 50 Razor Sig. Series Autos? ::facepalm::

Yes, this is just more drama in the world that is prospecting. Stay tuned or you'll miss it.

I understand Razor's past quality issues that many members here have, however, if this was Topps or UD that had this happen, I doubt anyone would really think twice.

Production problems have happened before, and will continue to happen to all companies, not just Razor.

way to go razor. another cryptic message inviting more speculation. you guys seriously bring all this nonsense upon yourselves but i guess whatever sells cases in the long run. how are there thousands of dollars in the budget to produce a product but zero for someone to handle the PR?

No, absolutely no chance at all.

:P

Just like no product will steal the thunder of Signature Series, and SS will always hold a strong value.
