Ok well now that the first Razor metal autographed cards are on ebay what are some guesses for the bigger names in the set. Im just taking a guess that the print runs for everyone will be around /150 base, /50 blue, /25 gold.

By the looks of the first player listed these will bring some serious coin. Any guesses on these guys......

Tim Beckham
Matt Wieters
Gordon Beckham
Pedro Alvarez
Jemile Weeks
Justin Smoak
Yonder Alonso
Buster Posey
Brett Lawrie

Yep bid early and often. The big guys will all go over a $100. I bet we see a few big player's laying down some nice coin to corner the market on a few of them. A few of these guys, if you don't win them now. You may not see the cards on the market again.

I can see exclusives being triple digits but the Poseys and Beckhams I would be shocked if they went that high since they have multiple autographs out there.

I think the prices should look as follows.

Base: 40-50
Blue: 80-100
Gold: 150-?

Its going to be annoying trying to get what i want of these. Im really hoping alot of these get re-listed by buyers after the dust settles. I have a bad feeling that wont be the case.

Are these going to be serial numbered??? If not...why??? I would feel much better knowing exactly how many existed.

Yeah, that is what worries me, but makes it fun in speculating. Going to have to follow these auctions like vultures during last few minutes and see what you have a shot at. I just have a feeling a few of these big dogs will go to a select few winners. On other hand some bargins will also be had on some lesser knows. That is where the money will be made.

So if Smoak, Alvarez, or Matusz (Wieters doesn't fit since his Exclusive contract is different) get called up quickly, won't Topps be able to hurriedly throw them in some product (if they can sign them)? Just curious because it may not be wise to shoot for those player's (probably more safe to go for the Hosmer's, T.Beckham's, B.Lawrie's, etc. the younger crowd).

No doubt Posey will be a tough get. Same with Tim and Gordon B. I hope the Gordon Beckham super collector here knocks down a few for his collection. W will get most if not all the Wieters.
Alonso may be one of those that is pricey, but can be had for a reasonable price. He will crush in that bandbox Cincy calls a ballpark.

There is no way the base card gets over $100. There are only 2 guys that are even remotely possible at craking that number, yet I still say its highly unlikely.

Ill probably be buying 1 of each kind (base, blue, gold) from my player. Not for investment purposes though. I'm gonna need one of each for the master set.

I am however, glad that the print runs on these appear to be small. This shouldnt mess with the values of the non metal autographed cards too much. It may even increase them by giving the Razor product more attention. I guess only time will tell.

Would you believe me if I told you that the Inoa base autograph will probably be the shortest printed base autograph?

So don't assume these release numbers will be the same for everybody, however all will be clearly noted on the auctions as they are put up.

It wouldnt suprise me. I just hope the print runs arent crazy (500 base, 250 blue, 50 gold) something like that. Im curious to see the different print runs and cards of the players i listed. They look amazing, i just think the price tags will be geared more towards player collecting rather than prospecting. Or in other words, i see more potantial in the non metal autos.

These cards seem sweet. Too bad these have the double KOD as it relates to the general public. Minor league placement and unliscensed. RAZOR is making some cool cards and I have purchased some packs of Signature, but I will pass of these.
