It just hit me.
they are keeping the same design because they are going to try to say that "Razor Metal" is a 2008 release

A lot liked the look of the cards but disliked the pinstripes making them look too close to old Donruss sets. Pinstripes were eliminated, hopefully people will like more. It was a valid question. You can ask questions.
