My 260 point lead has dwindled down to 105 since my RB trio was neutered (Turner, Brown and Benson).

I've got to somehow hold on for 4 more weeks. Luckily Benson came back and hopefully Turner will sit this week, heal up, and be back for the last 3 weeks...

That said, I've got a bunch of crappy running back matchups and I have to pick one to start next to Benson this week.

Scoring Format (VERY TD heavy):
1 point for 10 yards rec/rush
10 points for TD

(If you choose fly a waiver, post which one)

Hey there bud, first off don't rule out M.Turner just yet (& if he plays then I'd definitely go with him if I were you) but out of the above mentioned (sheesh :? ) I'd go with Chris Brown vs. Seatle. C.Brown has been the clear-cut starter for the Texans over the last several weeks (why we aren't using Moats more often is FAR beyond me ::facepalm:: ), due in large part to Slaton's fumbleitis...& now with Slaton placed on the IR I think C.Brown's job security just jumped up several notches ( ::facepalm:: ). Although I cannot stand C.Brown & the Texans decision to use him as our starter (he's frickin' SLOW & washed up), he will be our goaline guy & due to our high-powered passing offense he should see a handful of carries in the redzone & up on the goaline.

My 2nd choice from the above list would be Fargas vs. Washington. With the Redskins top-notch pass-defense being what it is, I think we'll see plenty of Fargas running & catching out of the backfeild (though I'm unaware how the Raiders have gone about dispersing thier redzone & goaline carries, so tread with caution there). But IMO Fargas has the 2nd best percentages to be productive out of the above mentioned back's.

All of the other back's are either the secondary RB or have harsh matchup's (facing tough run defense's)...McCoy plays for the Eagles & they are so pass heavy it is pitiful, & although he does catch the ball well there is the likelihood B.Westbrook will do all he can to come back to play the rival Giants this weekend (he practiced today); which would cut into McCoy's already average production...& let's not forget they're facing the Giants defense who's been on a tear versus the run as of late! Snelling is backing up J.Norwood & both of them won't be seeing many carries given that the Falcons will be playing "catch-up" early on to the juggernaut Sants offense! Forsett would be a sweet play if Julius Jones were again injured, but Jones is healthy & is the #1 back in Seatle (this confuses me by the way Forsett tore it up while Jones was out...but eh, I'm not the coach). Felix Jones is always a threat to take it to the house but M.Barber is healthy & carrying the load, & if there are to be a goaline carry then my bet is Barber gets it (not to mention they're playing a pretty stout San Diego run defense). And last but not least you got Mike Bell whom I truly like & believe could be in line for a TD this weekend, but that's about it & you should roll with the back with the higher ceiling who has the likelihood of actually reaching it (due to getting the carries permitted to equal the outcome)...which Bell is in a heavy pass offense & splits the carries with "TWO" rb's in Pierre & R.Bush!

I hope my post was of help to you bud! Good Luck & take care, Dave. :D

Out of those options I choose Felix Jones - and just hope you get lucky and he gets some carries and breaks one.

Though I think Buckhalter is a viable option - he may be a more consistent play then those other options through the rest of the season too, if you needed him.

Chris Brown.

With Slaton out and it being TD heavy this is my choice as well. May not get a ton of carries but will probably get all the goal line carries.

As said earlier, it annoys me that the Seahawks continue to ride Jones when he is healthy. Forsett is clearly the more dangerous back and with nothing on the line I just don't understand why and ineffective Jones takes all the carries away from Forsett. All the little fantasy blurbs seem confused about this as well, and yes, I have Forsett on both my teams.

Man I hope they bench turner for one more week. Last thing we need is him to aggravate the ankle over and over and become useless for the remainder of the season.

Interesting, my only concern with Brown is that the SEA secondary is ranked something around the 25 mark and HOU loves to throw in the red zone. Because of this I'm starting Schaub instead of Brady (unless I hear more news about his shoulder). Not sure if I want to put all my eggs into the HOU team even though they are going against SEA. I'll have to agree on Fargas being the second best choice on percentages. The idea of starting a raider though...ew

Yeah I agree with everything you said here. I just don't get the Forsett/Jones situation at all

I went back to the line to grab Buck for the rest of the season, he was gone though. I decided to dump Snelling since Turner will probably be back next week, and picked up gunther since he just got the nod for WAS. Stash him on my bench and see how he does.
