Re: MLB 5/3

Brett Cecil is perfect through five against the Indians. 56 pitches, 5 Ks.

Travis Snider is heating up a bit (or the BABIP Gods are finally giving him a break) with a double and his 4th HR. The homer was one of the hardest I've ever seen. They clocked it at under three seconds. Was never more than 12 feet off the ground, it seemed.

Re: What is it with Toronto pitchers??

It almost seems like there's no way they won't get a no-no at some point this year.

I've got a whack load of nice ones of his. Never intended on selling them but I'd obviously be crazy not to if he finishes it off.

No hitter and Shutout are now gone. Walked two then gave up a hit.

Re: MLB 5/3

Nice run for Cecil. For someone who was toying with a perfecto, he seemed to be getting squeezed a bit there.

Fourth Jays pitcher in 27 games to take a no-no into the 7th.

Randy Winn with a bomb, 4-1 Yankees.

He's always good for one in April or early May and then the next one will come in late Sept. Ask me how I know. :D

This will be the one day of the week where I'm 100% sure the Brewers won't be a ******* embarrassment to Milwaukee and the MLB ::facepalm::

Is it because they're off or because Hoffman is unavailable to pitch? :D

Re: MLB 5/3

If Mike Leake played for a Major League team instead of the incompetent Reds, he would have another 2 wins. Reds had a runner caught stealing and Cabrera flat out dropped the ball at 2nd.

Kid absolutely is pitching his heart out and deserves better defense than what he's getting.
