This GU bat is my 864th different O'Neill card, putting me at 66.6% mark in my collection. The two-thirds mark!

2001 Topps Gold Label MLB Award Ceremony Bat

I am currently at 864/1297 according to Beckett's count. Well, I actually have over 900 different if you include all the Tek variations and unlisted oddballs.

I started my O'Neill in 2005 I could have never imagined getting this far along in such a short time. To all the members here who have helped me along the way with trades, freebies, and eBay links - THANK YOU!

Nice mail! I loved watching O'Neill play. He was a true class act. I just got this in the mail a couple days ago.

JackLondon - Thank you sir, I will try to keep it up!

magicpapa - No, it still hasn't turned up yet, I think my personalized limited edition Magicpapa autographed card was also in that mailer! :? :( It has been over year and a half now so I have lost all hope with all those missing packages. Thanks for all your help since that time, you were the first person I thought of above.

bouwob - Thanks! I'm lovin the new sig, that is waaaaay more impressive!

JoeTorreCollector - Thanks, very nice Paulie you've got there!

Wow! Fantastic progress with the player collection. Have you started to plateau at all? I'm running into that in some ways with my Jacobsen and Erstad collections... even though my Erstad wantlist is pretty lengthy.

I played ball with a guy whose dad was Paul's best man in his wedding, or the opposite way around, Paul was his dad's best man - if you could follow that.

theplasticman - Yes, I am getting to the point where it has been harder and harder to find cards I need (which I can afford). I only average 1-2 new O'Neill cards per week now, much less than before. I know you're much further along with your guys, is it basically just a waiting game after a certain point in your collection?

markakis8 - Must be nice to know Paulie personally like that.

MOFNY - No, it is not too rare. There are always a few listed in eBay stores. I have just been holding out for the right price.

prozac4312 - Thanks! It has been a while since I took a math class. :)

jarcar - Numbers aren't everything. If your mail days are any indication, your collection has some quality cards. Thanks!

pghbuccos - Thank you! Here are 5 of my favs, not in any order:

2000 UD MVP GU (only example I have seen anywhere in 4 years of looking)
