Please comment your answers.

Name circumstances in which a person can get to first base WITHOUT touching the ball with the bat.

Right off, let's get rid of the obvious ways.

Base on Balls
Hit Batsman
Passed ball

Go for it!

Also, someone makes an error that allows player to reach safely
He would have had to hit the ball for that to happen, I believe.

Right, but just because you make contact doesnt make it a hit.
Sorry, I thought thats what you meant, didnt realize you meant without making any contact with the ball.

The first baseman picks up his glove and jogs from the dugout to first base.
The pitcher makes an out at first (such as a 3-to-1 putout).

Good point - we'll use that one. But at what point would it not be scored as a passed ball? Opinions? But more ways! Heck I can think of 3 more right off hand!

*Umpire* Interference (extremely rare but possible)

An error by the umpire and/or scorer (again extremely rare)

Returning to first base after a fly ball is caught

Result of an unsuccessful run-down/pick-off attempt between first and second base
