You realize that Domonic Brown is rail thin...

so is Michael Phelps and again he ate 12,000 calories aday.

I don't think Domonic Brown is swimming for 6-8 hours a day.

Yeah that was the point....

Only in the lard arse capitol of the world (the USA, and yes I am a proud American but we have a fatty problem) would someone call 6'5" 205 "thin as a rail". I agree it's not fat, but I don't think 99% of the world would call him a "rail"

And last but not least, it blows me away how I can start a post called Really dumb, admit it's a stupid thread and still have people trolling.

I understand the idea of the thread was, as you called it, "dumb" but your example which included a VERY thin individual such as D.Brown, & then trying to justify such by stating M.Phelps does it so everyone his size must also, is what struck me as "dumb".

Better luck next time, Dave. :P

What do you guys weigh that you think 205 6'5" is very thin, you guys most be HUGE.

so better luck to you on your diet.

now it's your turn to be a Troll.........and go[/quote:10xl3qdp]

Cole Hamels is 6'3 190, I guess he's a fatty too.[/quote:10xl3qdp]

What part of "I NEVER SAID HE WAS FAT" is too hard for some of you to grasp. All I said was that I think he could f-up a buffett.

Never knew so many Phillies fans (not all of you so don't start that off subject post) had such thin skin for their players, I really don't think it's that healthy.

He's 6'5" bud, you do realize that is thin for his height? Have you seen him (obviously not or you'd realize that he is thin)?[/quote:1eru77uk]

Thanks BUD, but it looks like he is on the high end of the scale even for someone of a large frame.

Obviously you have not seen him.

I love how 2 people have taken a "fun" thread and made it their personal crusade to defend the honor of Dominic Brown. Man-crush much?

Brown and Howard where my picks, that's all. Everyone is welcome to their own picks.[/quote:1eru77uk]

Not a personal crusade at all, I am just one of several member's whom responded in this thread correcting your mistake.

As for the "fun" thread, my response would be Prince Fielder (5'11" 268lbs) & CC Sabathia (6'7" 290lbs)...Now that could rightfully be referred to as "Fat". :D

I don't think any Phillies fan is getting upset over what you are saying. I just think you're wrong about Domonic Brown not being skinny.

I wouldn't talk about people being thin skin when you have been getting upset every time someone disagrees with you in this thread.

Simmer down there bud there's no need to get flustered, I was just pointing out that D.Brown was thin. I'm not really a Phillies fan (or a D.Brown fan for that matter...I mean I like the Phillies & D.Brown but I'm an Astros & Michael Taylor fan) so there is no "homerism" going on from me, just telling it like it is! ;)

I'm gonna drop this "back n forth" as it isn't leading anywhere & is in no way productive (you're gonna think what you're gonna think & if a 6'5" 205lb person isn't skinny to you then that is perfectly fine as everyone has an opinion)!
Take care, Dave. :grouphug: :D

No worries on this end either, you also take care and best of luck on the Astros season.

One thing we can both agree on, Bagwell had some big arse guns.

My vote is Pedro Cerano and President David Palmer

that should confuse you long enough for me to escape out the side door without paying

TRUE STORY... in Orlando at Bill Wong's China Buffet... we went for my high school graduation. I ate so much the waiter was grossed out. I followed my meal with 9 cups of ice cream. He told me if I ate 9 more he'd buy my meal...

Let's just say I got a free dinner and about 3 days of straight toilet reading

How about Dusty Baker and Lou Pinella?

"Lets show these kids something," Lou says.

"Wait, I got a few young pitchers throwing 300 pitches after this game they just pitched in. After that we can go," says Dusty.

"Sweet," says Lou. "I'm gonna' see if Zambrano wants to go; he told me his brother is in town."

Since I remember them from several years ago on the redsox, I'm going to go with Rich "El Guapo" Garces and Rod Beck. Both were big dudes and certainly not skinny - no matter who's definition we use :)
