Almost always my local card shop has little or no hockey. However, a few weeks ago some guy brought in some game used sticks that the shop ended up buying. Most of them were Dallas Stars players, or so they thought. I had to do some research on 2 that I had bought. My friend that I work with used to know Benoit Hogue's brother, so I happen to pickup a Benoit Hogue gamer for $10 at the shop for him. (Sorry, no pics of this one) I ended up finding out that the stick was actually used by Hogue when he was playing for Phoenix. Jersey # on the stick didn't match his Dallas number, but matched Phoenix.
Anyway, I ended up picking these up for myself yesterday....
Sorry for the large pics. If you haven't figured it out yet, they sticks are of Derian Hatcher and J.J. Daigneault. The Daigneault was used when he was with Phoenix. It took me a while to figure that one out. Thankfully, I stumbled upon hockeyreference's website and was able to match the jersey # on that one. Thanks for looking!
EDIT 4/27/10 - Picked up 5 more. 1 last week, and 4 today.
