Good I just picked up an 05 BCDP Blue of him for 24.99$...Hopefully he can string together some good stuff

I decided that the centering wasn't great and i already have am 8.5, 9.0 and 9.5 and couldn't continue to spend that much money on him. That was a $40 card upon release in 05 and he hasn't done anything to really warrant a decrease in value, considering he was a HS prospect at the time and it was known he would spend 3+ years in the minors

I picked this up because this one has better centering than the current one I have, and I paid alot more for that one.....Any luck on the Elite Black Sobo?

Nope. Haven't seen it yet. Still don't have any of the 1/1 Canes from 08 elite.

Sorry, but it was only 6-1, if Bowden didn't give up any runs they would be tied at 6.

He came into a crappy situation. Francona managed as if the game was over, trying to squeeze extra outs from Penny when he obviously had nothing. Im not saying Bowden wasn't awful, because he was, but he also was down 9-1 after 2 pitches, and anything after that the game is over 95% of the time

His arm angle has always been off and the sox decided when he came out of high school that he wouldn't injure himself because of that. He looked like absolutely garbage tonight. There is no way to justify that. But he has and should have other opportunities.

I didn't realize how big the guy was. I guess a lot of growth occurred since his 2005 Bowman card, but I thought he was a lot smaller.

Agreed, but it still hurts more than a typical garbage relief appearance, and im not even that much into him. Im in for about $250 with a current sale value of $400+ or something so its not that big of a deal, lol. But i was sort of hoping to move some stuff with the call up, hopefully next week will help

I couldn't care if I ever moved a card, I saw him and he goes "Hey man, you still got my best card?" That's why I collect.

Yea, their strength program has really gotten him big. It caused Buchholz massive problems last season but he seems to have rebounded nicely.
