I'm a Giants fan but, I believe the All-Stars should be the best players of the first half, with the Giants bats there are few to none who will be going to Arizona.

There was something like this last year with the Reds and Red Sox when Votto wasn't picked for the All-Star game. When the fans vote stuff came out anyway.

Not unprecedented. In 09 the Tigers and Phillies did an alliance for the final vote with Victorino and Inge.

This move is low budget. The fact that it's on the MLB.com site has me thinking of requesting a refund.

And no, I wouldn't agree to it even if it were to benefit the Yankees. It should be for the absolute best at each position, not the Cal Ripken or Jeter as the legacy vote or Youkilis for the ugly vote.

And while I'm up on the soap box, can we please find a way to restrict voting to one per person or at the very least one per IP address? Multiple voting it moronic. You're not allowed to vote multiple times for any other kind of ballot, why this?
