Glad we got the win, but damn....we should have won it way earlier but we left a lot of guys on base. Beckett pitched amazing and our bullpen pitched just as well. I still can't believe Ellsbury didn't get ONE hit in 8 ABs! Just one of those games I guess.

It was a pleasant surprise to wake up and see the Sox won.

I went to bed after the bases load no out debacle. I'd seen that movie before.....and figured it usually doesn't end well. When you squander an opportunity like that, seems the other team comes through in the bottom of the inning. Also, you can only give a good home team so many opportunities before they somehow score a run.......glad the Sox pulled it out.

Hopefully the Sox can put a nice run together to end the month. With Baltimore, Seattle, Kansas City and Chicago coming up, now would be a good time to try to create some distance.
