Red Sox vs Tampa Bay Thread

This thread is for the big four game series against the Rays coming up. I'm going friday, sunday, and monday.
I think the Sox need to and can take 3 of 4 in this one and tie up the division. A sweep gives us the lead.

Shields Buccholz
Garza Lester
Niemann Lackey

Only one I dont like is Garza Lester
Win all four and we take the lead in the division!

I'd be more worried about the BoSox pathetic offense than the pitching matchup. Rays take 3/4 here.

I think as long as Ortiz doesnt play they will be only slightly pathetic. However, I see them taking a minimum of two games here for reasons unknown.

If lester pitches like he did in MN, then the Sox are probably in for a loss. Hopefully he cn turn that around for you. Also Lackey didn't look awesome here either yesterday. I think he got the win, but I've seen him pitch alot better.

Sox have the edge in game one, Rays have the edge in game 2 & 3 (I love Lester but he's a notoriously slow starter), and the matchup in game 4 is a draw. I'll say they split 2-2.

Where are you getting win all four and take the lead in the division? The Yanks and Jays are both ahead of Boston ::facepalm:: ::facepalm::

I say Davis comes out pretty good. bats go good. Game 1 TB. Longo cracks one off beckett! I think if TB bullpen doesnt ruin it, they take 3 games, maybe 4, but i doubt 4. Good luck man. Enjoy the games! They should be a blast either way

cant get around at all
i believe the runners come through boston sometime during the game. sometimes they show them on the jumbotron and sometimes not at the game.

i have standing room, but ill be tryna upgrade

one marathon game i went to mark loretta hit a walk off. but those were the good days scotty, seems from today they are long gone. the tampa series will see if they can get back to form.
