Red Wings got screwed out of a goal

It should be on Sportcenter tomorrow, but the ref blew the whistle on a open puck and Hossa tapped it in right before the whistle (but the guy was raising it to his mouth so no goal). I get the frozen puck when it is covered by the goalie, but that was an awfully quick whistle by the Ref. Game should probably be going into OT

The ref was behind the net on the opposite side of the net where the puck was at. They are instructed to blow the whistle once they lose sight of it. It sucks for the Wings since it was at the end of the game.

I get that, and I know I am biased, that was a very fast whistle. IMO at that time in the game, give it a second and try to reposition. The goalie never had

Hate the WINGS!!! How dare you say that. Are you still upset about last year Just kidding man, but there were some quick whistles in that game last night.

It was without a doubt over the line before the whistle blew.
I understand that if the ref is in the motion of blowing the whistle that it doesn't count, but gimme a break. It was just a terrible call.
