PT is a solid versatile back who does have good football instincts. He seems best suited as a carry sharing back. He's been a tad fragile in his career and a full work load probably is not beneficial for him or the team. I can see Reggie moving on as well as Bell and the team finding/drafting a compliment to him.

I doubt those stats will be reached. Only time will tell. I just do not see it. Hope I am proved wrong. Like when a relative nobody over achieves.

What is so hard to realize?

He had the same average per carry as Chris Johnson, rushed for 800 missed 1/4 of the season and had 300 yards receiving.

I can understand if he had 500 yards rushing and 100 receiving and I am telling you about his potential......he already had 1100+ yards this year and was the only RB in history to have a TD in the NFC championship game and super bowl.

man now you are struggling. A cheese stat and a comparison to Chris Johnson. Please make it stop. Is he your brother or something. What am i missing. Who defends this bum. Talk to me when he rushes for 1100 yrds more then once. Not total yrds.

What is a cheese stat you clown?

Facts are facts. What is wrong with total yards, we are talking about value here and production.

"Like when a relative nobody over achieves" ~ what are you, Yoda or something? Is that english?

Bell is long gone. The garbage man has taken out the trash for the last time. Hamilton will come on next year and Thomas will get stronger for the goal line pounding.

It is funny how you call him a 'scrub' when he has better numbers than the entire backfield of the Steelers

I am a fan of Pierre Thomas. I love how he fights for extra yards.

I love how he bumbles and stumbles every which way for tons of extra yards every single carry....though a good way to get injured, I like the approach.

Mendenhall had 1,369 combined yards (rushing and receiving)

Thomas had 1,095 combined yards (rushing and receiving)

YOU FAIL!!!!!!!!!

Oh Mommy the keyboard commando got me. Not a gm in the league would take Thomas over Mendenhall. Keep plugging away. Your lack luster defense of a scrub is priceless.

BTW- Yes I want a medal. Please come to the National :) I will pay for your air fare. Lord knows your unemployed ass does not have a job. Hand outs are taken by you for sure.

I must be on his foe list, because he doesn't respond to me owning him about his lack of basic math skills.

Sweet, I knew the peanut gallery was going to have a comment.

So since you brought it up we will compare:

Mendenhall: started 12 games.
Pierre Thomas: started 6 games.

Mendenhall: 4.6 YPC
Pierre Thomas: 5.4 YPC

Mendenhall: 9 rushes over 20 yards.
Pierre Thomas 7 rushes over 20 yards.

Mendenhall: 242 carries , 1108
Pierre Thomas 147, 793

You realize that Thomas would have to average 3.0 yards a carry on the next 100 carries to surpass all of menenhall's totals and will do it in half the games started?

Seriously, you are really comparing the two?

I got 100 paypal Thomas does not get 1kyrds rushing next year? We can send the money to Chris and he can hold if he is willing. Then I got another 100 that Mendy has more yrds from scrimmage.
Come on Erica Lets Dance. You invested enough in this scrub what is a couple bills among friends
